Episode 2 is the second episode of Season 2 of The End of the F***ing World.
Synopsis[]
Just as Alyssa claws her way back to a semblance of a normal life, she discovers her past isn't done with her yet.
Plot[]
Alyssa, now 19, is getting married. She was given a community service sentence for the murder of Clive Koch. Due to the backlash from the murder, Alyssa's mother Gwen sells their house and moves in with Alyssa's aunt Leigh in the country. Alyssa is given a job and meets Todd, whom she asks to marry. She receives a death threat in the mail that she does not take seriously. Over time, she notices that a mysterious red car has been following her, which belongs to James.
It is revealed that James is given a suspended sentence, survived his wounds at the end of the previous season and recovered in hospital. He is barred from seeing Alyssa and forced by Gwen to write a break up letter to her. After his father suddenly dies, James begins living in his father's car, holding on to his father's ashes. He, receives a death threat in the mail and decides that he needs to ensure Alyssa is safe. He begins to watch her, and is happy to know she is doing well.
